Eunaware, Inc. (“we”, “our”, “us”), registered in Wyoming, USA, owns and operates the Oysia mobile application (“Oysia”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Oysia, we may collect the following types of information:
- Email address – collected when you sign up or log in. Used for communication if needed.
- Usage identifiers – anonymized identifiers that help us understand usage patterns and improve the app.
- Favorite places – we store the list of your favorite places for your convenience.
We may send occasional emails. You may request or delete your data at any time by contacting support@oysia.app or by deleting your account directly within the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to improve app performance, personalize your experience, provide better recommendations, and communicate with you only when strictly necessary for legal, security, or account-related matters. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is primarily stored on secure Heroku servers provided by Salesforce. Additionally, we store local app settings on your device using Apple’s UserDefaults API. Confidential information such as user IDs and authorization tokens are stored securely using Apple’s Keychain.
4. Third-Party Services & Libraries
Oysia integrates trusted third-party services and open-source libraries to ensure a reliable and high-quality experience:
- Google Places API – provides information about places such as opening hours and contact details.
- Kingfisher – open-source iOS library for efficient downloading and caching of images.
- Apphud – manages and analyzes subscription revenue.
- Amplitude – provides analytics to better understand app usage patterns.
5. Custom Fonts
Oysia uses the Inter typeface, designed by Rasmus Andersson. Inter is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. For more details, visit the font’s official website.
6. Local Places & Business Information
Oysia displays information about local places and businesses around the world. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially connected to any of these businesses.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of the data we store about you, as well as the right to request deletion of your data. You can do so by contacting support@oysia.app or by deleting your account inside the app.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability. We comply with all applicable GDPR obligations when handling your personal data.
